Specifies requirements for general purpose, pressure sensitive paper label stock which is intended for conversion to many types of paper labels for use on a variety of clean, smooth flat or moderately curved surfaces at temperate conditions. Stipulates physical properties in respect of mass per unit area, thickness, form, dimensions and tolerances and, for roll stock, the internal diameter of the core. Performance properties are prescribed.
