To enable applications on a wide variety of devices, including devices that have limited data storage, and to improve image recognition accuracy, ISO/IEC 19794 standards are followed regarding not onlydata format, but also scene constraints (lighting, pose, expression, etc.), photographic properties(positioning, camera focus, etc.), and digital image attributes (image resolution, image size, etc.).A specific biometric profile for cross-border interoperability is required for full body photographs. Fullbody photography standardization is required to get good quality database images for identificationand verification using video surveillance and other similar system generated images. At the moment, border guards take full body photographs using local practices for enrolment, verification, identificationand watch list identification.ISO 22311:2012 [10] specifies a common output file format that can be extracted from the videosurveillancecontents collection systems to perform necessary processing. ISO/IEC 30137 [8] specifiesdata formats for storing, recording and transmitting biometric information acquired via a videosurveillance system. The EN 62676 series [11] defines video surveillance systems for use in securityapplications. The purpose of this Technical Specification is to provide expert guidance (i.e. best practices) for thephotography of full body, especially when the resulting images are to be used for purposes ofidentification and verification, either by automated recognition systems or by human viewers.Cross References:ISO 12233:2017EN 61966-8 (IEC 61966-8:2001 AS) ISO/IEC 30137-3ISO/IEC 10918-4:1999ISO/IEC TR 24714-1:2008 Ed 1ISO/IEC 24779-1:2016 EN 62676-5ISO/IEC 14496-14:2003 Ed 1ISO/IEC 19785-1:2015ISO/IEC 19794-15:2017ISO/IEC 10918-6:2013 ED1ISO/IEC 14495-2:2003 CD-ROM Ed 2ISO/IEC 19794-5:2011ISO/IEC 14495-1:1999ISO 22311:2012 ED1 EN 62676-3 (IEC 62676-3:2013) ASEN 62676-1-2 (IEC 62676-1-2:2013) ASEN 62676-1-1 (IEC 62676-1-1:2013) ASISO/IEC 2382-37:2012 ED1ISO/IEC 10918-1:1994ISO/IEC 10918-5:2013 ED1ISO/IEC 10918-2:1995EN 62676-2-2 (IEC 62676-2-2:2013) ASISO/IEC 14495-2:2003 Ed 2ISO/IEC 10918-3:1997ISO/IEC 23008-12EN ISO 11664-1 (ISO 11664-1:2007) ASEN 62676-2-3 (IEC 62676-2-3:2013) ASISO 11664-1:2007 Ed 1EN 62676-4 (IEC 62676-4:2014) ASEN 62676-2-1 (IEC 62676-2-1:2013) AS
